In her opinion piece last Sunday, Daphne Caruana Galizia described Dr Tonio Borg as bombastic, pompous and patronizing, and a paternalistic presence. She puts him on the same level with a minister who is damaging this government’s electoral chances, and therefore is making many Nationalists twitch with the urgent desire to vote PN out of power.

Ms Caruana Galizia’s comments on Minister Borg makes her more like a Harry Potter nemesis, namely Is-Sahhara tal-Bidnija than a journalist with good constructive criticism.
