Thirty-six Bank of Valletta cardholders who, during the period 20 to 31 July, shopped or dined in Valletta and paid with their BOV card, are the first winners of the BOV Streets Alive shopping lottery.

This was the first of three BOV Streets Alive shopping lottery draws. The promotion was launched by Bank of Valletta to coincide with the BOV Streets Alive activities underway in Valletta.

The final draw will also see three Valletta merchants being drawn as winners of a travel package for two to a

holiday destination of their choice.

“The BOV Streets Alive shopping lottery is an initiative directed at promoting and supporting business activity in Valletta during summer,” said John Pollacco, head of card services at BOV, while the lottery draw was taking place.

“The BOV Streets Alive shopping lottery and the bank’s involvement in the BOV Streets Alive activity underline our ongoing commitment to strengthen our relationship with both cardholders and business customers, while supporting and encouraging the generation of commerce in our capital city,” Mr Pollacco concluded.

As part of this promotion, all BOV cardholders who, during the period 20 July to 24 August, pay for their transactions with a BOV card when shopping or dining in Valletta will become automatically eligible to win back the amount spent, up to a maximum of Lm25/EUR58.23.
