Magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona yesterday filed a written complaint at the St Julian’s police station asking the police to initiate criminal libel proceedings against editor of The Malta Independent on Sunday Noel Grima.

In the writ, magistrate Micallef Trigona claimed the article titled Government investigation into ‘delays’ at Gozo Court published last Sunday, damaged his reputation. The writ was signed by Dr Joe Mifsud.
