The MFA expressed its thanks to the public, including a good number of families, club football nurseries and the South End Core, for attending at the National Stadium, Ta’ Qali to give their support to our national team during Wednesday’s Malta - Moldova European Championship Group C qualifying match.

The Malta Football Association appreciates the support which once again was remarkable, despite the inclement weather. This support was not only heard but felt by the players especially when our team faced an adverse scoreline which matured in the first half. The crowd’s backing was a major factor which helped our players pull back into the game with two goals and end the match on a crescendo.

The MFA, on behalf of all, wishes to thank the players and coaching staff for their hard work which is reaping positive performances.

The MFA, would also like to show its gratitude to the media for its continued support, the police and all those who were involved in one way or another to make Wednesday’s match another occasion to be remembered.
