Following Air Malta’s recent decision to begin operating to Bologna, the airline has announced that it will anticipate operations by around two weeks and will commence flying to the Italian city on Thursday, 6 December.

The decision was taken so that car enthusiasts will have the opportunity to visit the world-renowned Bologna Motor Show that is being held in the city between 7 and 16 December.

Air Malta will operate three flights before the previously announced inaugural flight to Bologna. The first flight will depart Malta International Airport on 6 December at 3.25pm. The return flight to Malta will depart at 6.15pm. The second flight will depart Malta on 10 December at 6.10pm, with the return flight departing at 8.35pm. On 13 December, the flight to Bologna departs at 1pm with the returning flight departing Bologna at 3.40pm. As from 17 December, Air Malta will operate with twice weekly flights every Monday and Thursday as per the previously announced schedule.

To help launch the new Bologna route, Air Malta is offering an unbeatable, introductory price starting from Lm3/EUR6.99 one-way (excluding taxes and fuel surcharge). Customers availing themselves of this offer can travel to Bologna between 6 December and 27 March.
