Cindy Jackson’s Great Food from Cindy’s Kitchen on CD is unique to Malta and comprises 101 illustrated recipes in six sections. They are international in nature and all the ingredients, which are given in British imperial, metric and US cups, are available in Malta. Each section has its own index and each recipe is linked directly to its page. Therefore, one can easily access and print out any one of the recipes, switch back to the index to try another one and so on. An obvious advantage over a book is that if a copy gets soiled in the kitchen, you simply print out another one.

Cindy started writing a cookery column for The Sunday Times of Malta six years ago and has continued uninterrupted ever since. She is now given a full page which appears on the last Sunday of the month. Her first book, Recipes for the Rest of Us, was published here in Malta in 2003.

Cindy is a well-travelled English lady now living in Malta. She has spent considerable time in France, Portugal and Spain and also lived in Florida, where her talent for research and cookery writing was first noticed by north American food writer Doris Reynolds. As a result, she was commissioned to write articles for Appletree Press in Belfast which were featured at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 1999.

Cindy’s CD is available in some 36 outlets.
