I would just like to say what a fantastic letter from Lesley Kreupl. That letter said it all regarding the problems facing Gozo today. Like Lesley I believe that it is too late to do anything about Malta, which over the years has been turned into a concrete jungle, but surely something can be done to stop the same thing happening to Gozo.

As far as MEPA is concerned I believe that the word “Environment” should be removed from the name, as this authority does not seem to give a damn about the environment.

As for the Gozitan people, it is up to them to do everything in their power to protect their homeland.

They will not achieve this at government level or through local politicians but through their support for NGOs such as the FAA, which has shown that it truly cares about the country.
