Malta Independent Tuesday, 22 January 2008, 00:00 Last update: about 17 years ago

Industrial directives by the Union Haddiema Maghqudin at Mater Dei Hospital pharmacies were suspended yesterday, after talks with the Department of Health, the hospital management and the Office of the Prime Minister, the union said.

The talks were about the shortage of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and employee flexibility. It was agreed that when necessary, the Director General would employ pharmacists or pharmacy technicians, both full time and part time.
