A 22-year-old man pleaded not guilty to trafficking in ecstasy pills and cannabis resin on the night of 31 July 2004.

Before magistrate Lawrence Quintano, John Degiorgio, from Senglea, pleaded not guilty also to being in possession in the drugs in circumstances denoting that they were not for his exclusive use.

Dr Jason Azzopardi appeared for the accused.
