Public property in Triq il-Kappillan Gwann Azzopardi, OC, Sta Venera, was transferred to the Santa Venera scout group after a parliamentary resolution was approved last October.

The property was in the hands of the Scout Association by means of a 16-year lease, and is used by the scout group of Santa Venera, which also includes members from various nearby localities.

This month marks the centenary of the scouts setting up their movement in Malta.
