‘Azzjoni Nazzjonali’ Policies

Malta Independent Sunday, 17 February 2008, 00:00 Last update: about 17 years ago

From Mr E. Torpiano

Seeing that Azzjoni Nazzjonali spokesmen are always passing comments as to what both major political parties should, or should not, have done, I would like to ask its national executive and its leader, Josie Muscat a question. Why is it that Azzjoni Nazzjonali has always adamantly opposed the government-led modernisation of the Sant’ Antnin (Marsascala) waste recycling plant, when Azzjoni’s own deputy leader, Anglu Xuereb, tendered for this lucrative modernisation project in 2001 when the government had planned to transfer all waste management to the Marsascala site?

Was this not yet another case of two weights and two measures?
