Mr Clyde Puli Prefers Labour

Malta Independent Sunday, 17 February 2008, 00:00 Last update: about 17 years ago

From Mr C. Sammut

Now we have it from the horse’s mouth, through Mr Clyde Puli’s assertion on TV that his party will never enter into a coalition with AD. What he could have added is that he would prefer to have Labour at the helm than his own Party at the helm of the country with a greener shade, influence and agenda.

I hope that Dr Gonzi immediately disassociates itself from such an outburst because in politics, as in most other things, you can never say never. A true statesman and a credible politician would not stoop so low. True Nationalist sympathisers should beware of those who have hijacked their party and who might have a hidden agenda for having done so. On seeing such a pathetic outburst, some friends who had been hesitant about whom to vote for, have made up their minds to vote for AD, the Green Party, in the forthcoming general election.
