Crackers: CHILDREN CINEMA DAY

Cinema Day is with us once again! The event that you have been waiting for will be held on Saturday 1 March. You will be lost for choice as 18 films, consisting of the most popular ones exhibited in cinemas in the last four months including three recent new releases will be showing on the day.

The following are the films for you to choose from: National Treasure – Book of Secrets Action Adventure; The Water Horse – Legend of the Deep based on children’s fantasy novel; Enchanted Animated live action romantic comedy; Anno Domini XXXIII Maltese production based on the Passion of Jesus Christ; August Rush Musical Drama; Bee Movie Animated;

Alvin & the Chipmunks Live action/comedy; The Golden Compass Fantasy Adventure; Beowulf Classic adventure drama; Daddy Day Camp Comedy; Mr Magorium’s Wonder Emporium Fantasy Drama; Ratatouille Animated / adventure; Nancy Drew Drama; Fred Claus Comedy; Bratz the Movie Bratz dolls come alive; Stardust adventure; The Nanny Diaries Comedy;

The Dark is Rising Fantasy adventure.

Price of admission is e2.35 for children while accompanying adults pay e3.50. Shows at all cinemas will run from 9am until 7pm. The two-screen Citadel Cinema in Gozo will exhibit films for children in the afternoon between 4 and 6pm.
