District police alerted about a car which lay crashed against a wall found an injured man in it and called an ambulance to take him to hospital.

The man, aged 31, from Zabbar, was found to be seriously injured and in danger of dying. He had been driving a Volkswagen Golf in Triq ic-Cawsli, Zabbar, where the accident happened.

Duty magistrate Dr M Mallia is holding an inquiry.
