Mark Sagona has been invited by Wirt Ghawdex to deliver an on-site lecture on the Art and Architecture of the Augustinian Church and Convent in Victoria, Gozo, tomorrow morning. The event will be followed by lunch in the refectory of the recently restored convent.

This church contains some very important works of art that span from the 16th to the 20th centuries, including works by Mattia Preti, Gian Nicola Buhagiar, Tito Troia and two of Giuseppe Briffa's most important works, among others.

The on-site lecture will start at 10am, but participants are asked to assemble in front of St Augustine's Church at 9.45am.
