Suggesting that Karmenu Vella (MLP) could easily be the Tourism Minister and Carmelo Abela (MLP) could easily be the Education Minister in a government formed by the Nationalist Party is a bit out of this world. I cannot imagine something like what which Alfred Mifsud (TMID, 14 March) is proposing can ever materialise in our country.
My question is the following.
For argument’s sake, let us say that this can really happen, and that both Karmenu Vella and Carmelo Abela, contrary to what Mr Mifsud believes, accept Gonzi’s invitation.
Would the present MLP leadership – or a future, different one – ever allow this to
happen?
