Duncan Bezzina of Juventutis Domus of Zejtun, won the third ranking tournament of the season organised by the Malta Billiards and Snooker Association.

In the final, played at the Melita Band Club, Msida, he beat No. 1 Alex Borg 5-2.

After the match, Mr Frans Bugeja, president of the association, presented the trophies to the finalists and informed all those present of the Malta team’s commitment this weekend when facing the Sicilian team in the Mediterranean Friendship tournament which is being organised by the Maltese Olympic Committee. This is being held on Friday and Saturday with matches at the Peace Band Club of Naxxar.

Matches on Friday start at 6pm. On Saturday matches commence at 1pm
