The Mission Fund is holding a 13-hour marathon on 1 June, starting at 10am on various TV stations, aiming to raise funds to build a school for HIV+ children in Tanzania, where Sr Domenica Ciliberti, a Maltese nun, is working to alleviate their suffering.

A group of 25 volunteers from the Mission Fund will be working on this project for a period of five weeks, leaving Malta on 21 July.
