The dispute between Air Malta and the General Workers Union on the filling up of vacancies has been solved during a meeting between the two sides in the presence of the Director of Industrial Relations and Employment Noel Vella.

The agreement lays down that the company should issue a call for applications internally among those employees who have been carrying out substitution work for over a year or are doing work above their grade.
