Judging from Bitterside’s last week’s warm acoustic session at Maestro e Fresco during the launch of the Palatino Bitterside Underrated Tour, tomorrow’s first acoustic gig at 2-22 in Valletta is bound to start off a truly memorable and worth attending unplugged series of gigs.

The Palatino Bitterside Underrated Tour is the band’s project for this summer to launch and promote its second album, Underrated. This tour, which will see the band performing its set list throughout a series of six live acoustic gigs over six consecutive weeks is being sponsored by Camilleri Wines who also supported the production of the band’s album.

“Camilleri Wines’ sponsorship of a local band’s music tour is a first for the winery but not a new thing when it comes to supporting local music,” outlined Claudio Camilleri, Head Sales and Marketing of Camilleri Wines. “Nonetheless, through this new direct collaboration with a local band, we are taking our commitment towards local music and talent a step further and we are eager to watch Bitterside perform their latest songs in front of a live audience,” added Claudio Camilleri.

Following tomorrow’s opening gig at 2-22 wine bar in Valletta, the band will be performing again at Rookies in Bugibba on Saturday 14 June, The Fortress wine bar in Xemxija on Wednesday 18 June, Maestro e Fresco in Valletta on Friday 4 July, Brookies in Gozo on Friday 11 July finishing off at del Borgo in Vittoriosa on Wednesday 16 July.

All concerts will kick off after 9.30pm.
