The Pensioners’ Association of the General Workers’ Union has appealed to the Department of Social Security to again start giving full information about their pension to those pensioners who have it deposited directly at the bank.

It said it was making the appeal in light of the agreement concluded with Social Policy Minister John Dalli last April, adding it felt that enough time had passed for the information to start being given again.

The association said the only information these pensioners have been given was the date when the pension was deposited.

No details were being given about the amount of pension paid, or if any deductions were made from it.
