It was a day for summer plastic footwear and skin care products, all of them fake, for the customs authorities yesterday: they discovered four containers of the products, all of them from the Far East.

Two containers were on their way to Casablanca in Morocco. The customs authorities said they carried 575 boxes, with 25,200 pairs of fake Crocs plastic sandals in them, hidden behind other boxes of unpopular brands.

In the other two containers, also originating from the Far East and on their way to Libya, thousands of skin care products were discovered, including shampoo, shower gel, roll-on deodorant and Vaseline branded Dove, Sunsilk Pantene, Head and Shoulder, Lux and Neutro Roberts. In all there were 81,936 products.

They are being held until the courts decide on the case.
