The Archbishop, Mgr Paul Cremona, OP, is holding a meeting with various sections of society before he leaves for Australia in July. The meeting, being held at the Catholic Institute, Floriana, on 27 June at 5pm, is being organised by the Emigrants’ Commission, the Friends of Australia Association and the Maltese Australian Association.
They are inviting diocesan and religious priests, nuns and members of the Christian doctrine society who have worked with migrants in Australia, returned migrants and their relatives.
The aim is to wish Mgr Cremona bon voyage, convey their greetings to all migrants and to convey St Paul’s blessings to migrants, their families, the Church in Australia and those attending the international youth congress.
The St Paul reliquary will be taken to the meeting, and will also be going to Australia for the second time.
