A woman was on the critical list yesterday after having fallen from a bus near the War Memorial in Floriana on Saturday.

It is understood that the 61-year-old, from Hal Qormi fell out of the door as the bus was negotiating a roundabout. She was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital and her injuries were diagnosed as critical. The police are investigating and magistrate Antonio Mizzi has appointed a number of experts to assist him in drawing up an inquiry.
