The UHM’s Health Services Section said progress was being registered in discussions with the Health Division and the Social Policy Ministry about the situation in the ambulances garage at the Mater Dei Hospital.

The section also condemned “some acts” which had been committed recently against some ambulance drivers. Those who were guilty should be brought to book, the section said, without saying what “acts” it was referring to, or where they had occurred.
