Five tuna farm operators yesterday filed a libel suit against Malta Today editor Saviour Balzan and journalist Raphael Vassallo.

The five operators, Mare Blu Tuna Farm Ltd, Ta’ Mattew Fish Farms Ltd, Fish and Fish Ltd, Malta Fishfarming Ltd and AJD Tuna Ltd felt defamed by an article carried on the 30 July issue named Tuna export figures questioned by experts.

The writ was signed by Dr John Refalo.
