Four teams will be searching their first victory of the season today as the Bank of Valletta Premier League continues at the national stadium, Ta' Qali.
At 5pm, Msida St Joseph will be meeting Tarxien Rainbows, while in the match that follows (kick-off 7pm), Hamrun Spartans will be facing Sliema Wanderers.
In their opening match last weekend, Msida and Tarxien both lost. Therefore today, they will also be seeking their first point or points of the new season.
The Saints lost 5-1 to Hibernians while newly promoted Tarxien went down 3-1 against Birkirkara.
In the second match, Sliema and Hamrun will be seeking a first win after drawing their first encounter. The Spartans figured in a drab goalless draw with Floriana, while Sliema came strongly from behind to earn a point from their top clash against Valletta.
