A 17-year-old motorcyclist from Cospicua died in a road accident yesterday after he rode off with a friend’s machine which he had borrowed.

The young man is said to have lost control of his bike when he was in the vicinity of the Vittoriosa regatta club yesterday afternoon. He is believed to have crashed into a wall, suffering serious injuries and dying on the spot.
