General managers and after sales executives from over 30 Ford Motor Company markets in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa will be in Malta for their annual conference from today to Thursday at Hilton Malta.

Over 100 delegates from Ford of Europe’s core European Direct Markets (EDM) subsidiary are expected to attend to hear an opening address from the main speaker, Peter Fleet, Regional Director, European Sales Operations for Ford of Europe.

Mr Fleet is responsible for the Ford national sales operations in Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece and the developing markets within the Ford EDM organisation.

The main purpose of the conference is to enable the delegates to discuss performance, new products, the general direction of the company and next year’s sales and marketing plans. They will also be attending the celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of the local Ford franchise, Gasan Enterprises Ltd.

David Gasan, managing director of Gasan Enterprises, is looking forward to welcoming the delegates since this is the first time that this group of executives within Ford of Europe will be holding their annual meeting in Malta.
