A man yesterday pleaded not guilty to stealing a number of metal items from a house in Fgura.
Bradley Carabott, was charged with stealing white metal ingots, copper tubes and other items from a house in Fgura on Friday.
He also pleaded not guilty to relapsing.
Presiding magistrate Michael Mallia refused to grant Mr Carabott bail and remanded him in custody.
Police Inspector Alexander Grech prosecuted while Dr Mark Busuttil appeared for the accused.
