‘Marketing Tourism products and services creatively’

A seminar entitled “Marketing tourism products and services creatively” organised by the MTA Industry Human Resources Development Unit will be held on Thursday 27 November at the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort St Julian’s.

The seminar will be addressed by Adrian Said, currently a Director of EMCS Ltd. Mr Said will highlight the need for Malta to focus on a ‘product positioning’ strategy whilst providing an analysis of the components and structure of a brand, types of brand architectures and their applications to Malta. Key note speaker Dr Jim Hamill, Reader in e-Marketing, University of Strathclyde Glasgow will explain the key features and application of Tourism 2.0 in relation to the opportunities and threats presented by Web 2.0 for Maltese tourism-related businesses.

This seminar is targeted towards any business owners, or marketing managers who are responsible for tourism-related support services from both large and small businesses.
