For the first time, the Cospicua local council is organising a two-day event in the heart of Cospicua’s commercial area on 22 and 23 December.

All commercial outlets will remain open till late and various activities will be held from 4.30pm onwards.

The full programme includes food stalls, crib exhibitions, live crib (with biblical characters and animals), free rides with Santa Clause on a cab, band marches, arts and crafts stand, face painting, children’s games, bouncy castle and train (free rides), fun and games.

There will also be balloon modellers, fairy on stilts, jugglers, clowns and Santa’s assistants, puppet shows, children’s Christmas Talent Show, magical shows, folk musicians, Christmas Parade, the Christmas Sing along Show with the participation of cartoon characters, etc

Every night will end with live concerts with the participation of top local performers such as Cristian Arding, Ludvig Galea, Natasha Grima, Debbie Scerri, Thomas Hadley, X-Tend, Lawrence Gray, Joe Demicoli, and the Joe Brown Big Band.

All events are free of charge for the public… so there’s nothing commercial here.
