In preparation for the upcoming Rugby international the top Maltese rugby players are meeting up this weekend to undergo intensive training.

The national team is currently placed third in Division 2B in the FIRA-AER European Nations Cup. Furthermore, they are playing qualifications for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. The team will be facing Latvia away on 18 April and the Netherlands at the Hibs Ground on 25 April.

Players from the national squad and national select will be playing Overseas RUFC, a locally based team, today at the Marsa Sports Ground, at 1pm. The public is invited to support the players while enjoying a beautiful day in the sun.
