Today, the Malta Racing Club is celebrating the 140th anniversary since the first race meeting was organised at Marsa, way back in 1869. Nine finalists will be competing for the prestigious horse-racing event, it-Tazza l-Kbira, sponsored by Emirates Airline. The winning horse will be presented with the Emirates branded horse blanket. This is the first time that Emirates Airline is partnering with the Malta Racing Club for It-Tazza l-Kbira. The finalists for It-Tazza l-Kbira will parade around the Marsa racetrack at 4.30pm prior the final race.
