Last Sunday, The Sunday Times quoted invisible opinion polls that put the PL at 56-57 per cent (average 56.5 per cent), the PN at 40 per cent and AD-the Greens at half its 2004 tally, that is 4.7 per cent of the votes, at the next European Parliament elections.

The three parties together have thus garnered 101.2 per cent of the votes! Considering that the other five parties contesting the elections should gather around three per cent of the vote between them, we are heading for an amazing election whereby the parties contesting will be gathering around 104-105 per cent of the votes cast.
