For the first time in the Maltese history of the cat fancy there are no less than 15 cats which have won international or regional awards with the prestigious International Cat Association (TICA). The Malta Cat Club is pleased to have hosted such a wide variety of pet owners, and various Cattery names – both local and foreign at our shows.
The international/ regional/ local winners for the TICA International Colour Award winners season 2008 – 2009: Best blue silver classic tabby exotic of the year: TGC. KIS Herbas Vinnetu of Caramia, Best Blue Silver Classic Tabby Persian of the Year: TGC. Svajones Darling of Fortune, Best Blue Silver Classic Tabby / White Persian of the year: CH. Caramia Love Potion, all owned by Keely Carabott.
The Best Blue Cream Point Himalayan of the Year: GRC. Dante House Blue Princess and the 3rd Best Chocolate Point Himalayan of the Year: Ch. Dante House Tzarushka are owned by Kevin Davison.
Ella Enchanted, owned by Natalino Attard got a prize in the regional winners (Top 20 TICA ES region) for household pet kittens.
DGM. Alex, owned by Natasha Camilleri; GRM. Troy, owned by Rita Bonavia; GRM. Maxi, owned by Roberta Micallef, DGM. Toby, owned by Petra Gasan, got prizes in the Household Pet Adults category.
