The Maltese of New South Wales turned up in strength at St Mary Cathedral in Sydney to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Victory, organised by the Missionary Society of St Paul.

The main concelebrant was Fr Taricisio Micallef, MSSP, with Fr Benedict Sant MSSP and Fr Leonard Testa, OFM Conv, concelebrating. The activity was attended among others by Malta’s High Commissioner in Canberra, Francis Tabone and the Maltese consul general in NSW, Annamaria Bonnici.

Children of Maltese descent dressed in Maltese colours took part and La Valette Choir sang during Mass.
