Replying to a question sent by this paper on Friday 11 September and referred to in the story claiming fuel contraband, Claudio Farrugia, Enemalta’s Business & Strategy Manager in the CEO’s office replied on Monday that “There were no abnormal fluctuations in the volumes of fuel sold over the past weeks. There has been a slight increase in the volumes sold in the same period last year.”
