Jörg Böttcher, a German artist resident in Zebbug, Gozo is better known for his acrylic paintings of Gozo landscapes and doors.

In the last few years he has been concentrating more on his abstract works. Fourteen years ago he had his first exhibition with abstract works at the same venue of the Gozo Ministry, with Gozitan artist Anthony Caruana. In this exhibition he will be showing his more recent works as well as some abstract works in photography.

This exhibition Mostly Abstract is also a sort of birthday present to himself as on the opening night he will be 60 years old and celebrating 30 years in art. The exhibition will be held at the exhibition hall, St Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo between the 14 - 29 October.
