Circo Fantasy’s Circus in Blata l-Bajda

JS Productions announced the introduction of the animal circus show Circo Fantasy to be held in Blata l-Bajda between 10 December 2009 and 3 January 2010 with two daily shows at 5.30pm and 7.30hrs. The show lasts two hours.

On its first day of performance on 10 December, the circus starts at 7.30pm and not at 5.30pm. On Saturday 26 December 2009, Sunday 27 December 2009, Saturday 2 January 2010 and Sunday 3 January 2010 an extra show will be held at 3.30pm.

The circus tent holds up a maximum of 1,200 people and has access entries for disabled persons. Parking will be provided in the surroundings by the circus promoters.

The show offers all kinds of art-dance, sport-acrobatic tricks, circus and theatre with more than 40 professional actors of different genres. It houses more than 50 animals including exotic and wild animals such as tigers, yak, crocodiles, horses and ponies, lama, snakes, ostrich, sheep dwarves, iguana, anaconda and zebra. One will also admire the talents of fire eating, magic, rope and bicycle balancing, vertical walking, unbelievable circus tricks, acrobats, foot roller, balancing and curtain flyer.

The circus will feature more than 200 luxury dresses, extraordinary sound, light mounting and music in the tent equipped with a heated system.

“Circo Fantasy originates from Italy and is regulated under the Code of Conduct for animals, EC Regulation 1739/2005 of 21 October 2005 laying down animal health requirements for the movement of circus animals between member states and under other supplementary regulations issued by the Federal Veterinary Office,” said Silvio Zammit at JS Productions.

Prices for Circo Fantasy will be e5 for children and e10 for adults. Tickets can be bought from the Circus Kiosk as from Monday 16 November 2009. The circus kiosk will be situated at the entrance of Freedom Square in Valletta.
