The committee of the Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art has invited Victor Agius to be one of the artists to exhibit his works there. Agius will be representing Malta among 800 artists coming from 80 countries.

He is putting on show two large paintings entitled Ggantija (80cmx120cm) and Praesepium (100x160cm) which are rendered in an abstracted idiom with mixed media and object-trouve.

The seventh edition of this Biennale is being held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence between 5-13 December under the patronage of the President of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano.
