Eighty four accountants were presented with their warrant yesterday by Finance Minister Tonio Fenech who in a short address stressed that professionalism, integrity, credibility and capability of the local accountants have become the basis of the Malta financial services industry.

He highlighted the pivotal role played by accountants in society, as government, private companies, banks and other professionals also rely on their contribution to achieve their objectives.
