The unemployment data for January, seasonally corrected, published by Eurostat yesterday, once again puts unemployment in Malta on the low side by EU standards.

For at 7.0 per cent unemployment in Malta last January puts Malta in sixth place, ahead of countries such as Denmark, Germany, the UK and the EU 27 and EA 16.
