Red Bull Drivers say they're over Turkey collision

Malta Independent Friday, 4 June 2010, 00:00 Last update: about 15 years ago

Red Bull teammates Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber say they have no problems working together despite the collision that wrecked chances of a 1-2 finish at the Turkish Grand Prix on Sunday and handed the race to McLaren.

The embarrassing bump on lap 40 put Vettel out of the race while Webber, who had led from the start, recovered to finish third behind Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.

After discussions with team bosses yesterday, Vettel said the two teammates were right to race each other.

Webber, whose championship lead is five points over Button, said he would make sure it wouldn't happen again but the incident would not prevent the two drivers continuing to work together.

The next race is in Canada on 13 June.
