Court: Burkina Faso National jailed

A Burkina Faso national who pleaded guilty to possession of false documentation was yesterday jailed for six months by a court presided by Magistrate Miriam Hayman.

Ketega Inus, born in Bursa in 1983 was charged with the possession and transfer of a Ghanaian passport and a Spanish residence permit card which belonged to someone else. He was also charged with attempting to travel with the same documents.

The prosecution was led by Immigration Officer Inspector Mario Haber while legal aid Anthony Mifsud Cutajar appeared for the accused.
