A 68-year-old woman of British nationality died yesterday after finding herself in difficulty while swimming in a pool in a hotel in Qawra, the police said yesterday.

The police said that it was informed about the incident at 2.15pm. People who were on site gave first aid to the woman but she was certified dead on site.

Duty magistrate Doreen Clarke appointed several experts to help her in the inquiry.
