The two victims of the St Sebastian fireworks factory explosion will be remembered during the feast in Qormi this weekend.

The victims of the 22 February explosion were Alfred Stellini, 46, and Damian Agius, 20.

Ghaqda Armar San Sebastjan said in a statement that it is displaying a new painting that depicts two saints – St Cosimo and St Damian – by Gozitan artist Manuel Farrugia.

Mr Agius had promised to donate the painting that depicts the saint whose name is the same as his baptismal name; following his death, Kummissjoni Zghazagh Bastjanizi decided to pay for it on his behalf.

Ghaqda Armar San Sebastjan said it is also displaying an artistic item that had been donated by Mr Stellini.

Both artistic pieces were first displayed during a concert organised by the Socjeta Filarmonika Pinto Banda San Bastjan yesterday.
