Revision In fuel prices announced

Malta Independent Tuesday, 3 May 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

Unleaded petrol remained unchanged in price from yesterday but diesel went up by three cents per litre, and kerosene by four in a price revision announced by Enemalta Corporation, which said the new prices reflect those obtained by it for the latest shipments of fuel.

The new prices are: Unleaded €1.38- €1.38, no change; Diesel €1.31-€1.34, up by €0.03; Kerosene €1.30-€1.34, up by €0.04; Gasoil for heating €0.93-€0.95, €0.02; TFO 200 €700.00-€723.00, €23.00; TFO 450 €688.00-€714.00, €26.00, and TFO 900 €667.00-€697.00, €30.00.

The unleaded and diesel prices also reflect the increase in petrol stations’ maximum retail mark-up as approved by the Malta Resources Authority.

The April diesel consignment is based on April Platts prices which were higher than the previous delivery pricing basis. There were no unleaded consignments during the month of April and the stability in the unleaded price reflects movements in stock levels.
