Robert Micallef is no longer the president of Marsaxlokk FC.

Anthony Lee Baldacchino, the club’s assistant secretary, said in a short statement that the majority of the committee members had voted Micallef out after a motion of no confidence in the president.

Micallef expressed his disappointment at being voted out of his post, adding that he had always acted in the best interests of the club.

He thanked everyone and augured that the club continues to be strengthened.
