Coaches Dismissal, Gary Neville’s book feature on today’s TV sport programmes

Malta Independent Sunday, 30 October 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

The dismissal of coaches John Buttigieg and Carmel Busuttil by the MFA last Tuesday, the local Premier League and the launch of Gary Neville’s autobiography will be the main items on the sport programmes on TV this evening.

The sacking of Buttigieg and Busuttil will be discussed on TVM’s Kontrattakk in which the guests will be Mosta FC President George Galea, Qormi FC President Redino Apap and St. George’s FC General secretary Michael Cutajar.

The resignation of Marsaxlokk FC coach Winston Muscat and Patrick Curmi’s new appointment with the Rainbows will also be discussed.

Net TV’s Replay will also analyse, discuss and comment upon the national coaches’ dismissal, but it will also take viewers down memory lane, through an interesting feature which will only be revealed during the programme.

Besides focusing on the Premier League matches played throughout the weekend, and besides affording a preview of tomorrow’s encounter between Floriana and B’Kara, this week’s programme will also include a discussion on the 47th derby between Vittoriosa and St George’s.

MFA president Norman Darmanin Demajo will be one of the guests in L-Argument on One TV.  The dismissal of the national team coach and assistant coach will be only one of the many themes discussed with the MFA president.

The Cottonera derby between St George’s and Vittoriosa is also a main feature but there will also be live links during and after the Premier League game between Hamrun S and Hibernians.

The programme also features Gary Neville’s autobiography which he launched in Malta last Wednesday.  L-Argument has been part of this activity and will be airing an exclusive interview with the Man Utd player.
